Meet The Team

Louise

What did you do before running an events company?

I began my working life in musical theatre having attended stage school from the age of seventeen. I went onto tour the world and work in London’s West End. From theatre I moved in TV presenting, working for London Tonight and quite a few shopping channels. I then moved into radio and stayed at the BBC at Radio 5 Live for eleven years, still singing professionally as well as presenting on the radio. Not at the same time though!

What do you love?

My husband, Chris and our two amazing girls, Esme and Connie who are my best production by far! Walking on the beach near where I live with our crazy pooch, Quincy Jones. I love coffee and am regularly over caffeinated! I still love to sing and dance. I’m a football fanatic but can’t bear to see my team lose. I love the odd handbag or two or three, sparkly shoes and champagne.

What drives you?

I am exceptionally ambitious and I am always striving to be better at what I do.

Why did you set up Louise Perry Events?

I have been a very successful wedding planner for the last four years and the business has grown so quickly and so successfully. Louise Perry events has been launched due to demand from previous clients asking if we could plan other events for them and of course we could. We have taken the reputation and name we have built with Louise Perry Weddings and we now offer all of our clients the same level of excellence.

Carly

What did you do previously?

Before working in events I was personal assistant to the CEO of a Head Hunting company within the Investment Banking sector. I then left that position to raise my son and love being a stay at home mummy. Both jobs have taught me a lot of life lessons and prepared me for the wedding industry as both my old clients and son make our brides seem easy.

What is your signature dish?

A classic Sunday roast giving my family lots of happy full bellies.

What do you love?

What I love, tough one but honestly other then the girly usual of handbags etc I really, really do love my job as I remember the joy and love I felt on my wedding day and seeing that on the events we work on makes the long days and endless cups of peppermint tea just fuel for the job.

What did you do before you worked in events?

I used to work in the Design industry.

I worked as an Office Manager and PA to the Director at one of the showrooms in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and then went on to work for an Interior Design company working on high end residential projects.

I also worked with Dogs for a brief time, which was great fun as I love animals.

What are you good points and faults?

I am a great people person, really easy to work with. I am organised, good at working and thinking on my feet.

My Faults would be, I am frequently over caffeinated! And I have a strange obsession with buying mugs.

What is your signature dish?

I would have to say a Thai Green Curry. It won my boyfriend over when we were dating! He is soon to be my husband.
